Age:  15+

Paint your own masterpiece use fundamentals of painting, including composition, value,

color, lights and shadows.  After a short demonstration, we’ll practice sketching and color

mixing on a given canvas before you develop your own style using these guidelines.

SUPPLIES YOU WILL NEED:( Supplies are available at Hobby Lobby or Michaels.)

A reference photo to paint from
Variety of brushes:  No. 6, 10, 12 (for acrylic)
Canvas:  8x10” or 9x12”

Primary Colors:  Red, Yellow, Blue and White.

The class will start with a limited palette. 

Regular artist grade acrylic paint such as Liquitex, Masters, etc. 

Andrea Czarnik is a local artist from Saginaw MI. Her earliest artistic pursuits were developed from attending Chicago’s Art Institute and the former American Academy of Art.  She favors painting en plein air using oil paints predominantly. She recently won "Best Of Show" at our St. Johns Plein Air event in May.
