  • Art in Business - downtown businesses will be opened for extended hours as they host local artists and musicians who will showcase their works and/or talents! ​
  • Chalk It Up Contest - Want to leave your mark on the town?

People's Choice - $100


No cost to register but is required.  This will allow us to pair businesses and contestants.  Registration Form can be mailed or dropped off at the Art Gallery. 


  • The Mike Schafley Band - sponsored by 
  • Come for dinner too!  Many food vendors will be available!  Food ticket sales will be available.  Vendors will not need to handle money and make transactions but be committed to your taste buds! A portion of the Food Ticket Sales will benefit the Clinton County Arts Council programming efforts and our Trail Underpass Mural Project!

Art WALK: CHALK IT UP!

​The overwhelming success of last year's Art Walk: Chalk It Up! encouraged us to make this an annual event in downtown St. Johns. 

You can count on Art Walk: Chak It Up! always being planned the second Friday in September. 

This is a FREE public event intended to bring arts and cultural awareness through a fun, family-friendly event.



Art Walk: Chalk It Up!

September 14, 2018; 5:00-8:00pm

Three Legged Dog Antiques, Woodbury's Flower Shop, Carousel Corn, Blue Own Boutigues, OhMi Organics, Rehmann's, Mercantile Bank, Bruno's, Back Alley Pet Grooming

SPONSORS: 

Sponsors are businesses located in the downtown who wish to participate in "Art Walk: Chalk It Up!" event by hosting an artist in their shop/store during the event or a Chalk It Up Contestant. To become a sponsor, participating businesses must:

- Be located in the downtown area 

- Be willing to host an artist and/or Chalk It Up Contestant

- Fill out all necessary forms

- Have paid the $50 venue cost for their spot by Friday, August 31st


Currently, the Art Walk: Chalk It Up! event is throughout the area of downtown St. Johns. If your business is NOT located downtown and you're bummed to be missing out on this opportunity, let us know! Though we do not currently have the means to work this event beyond one location, you're feedback could be crucial to helping us expand! Please email us at clintoncountyarts1@gmail.com.


EVENT Sponsors:

An Event Sponsor for "Art Walk: Chalk It Up!" would contribute $300 funding to assist with the marketing materials, supplies and prize money for winners. The business will be recognized in all advertisement and newspaper articles.  Business logo can be emailed to clintoncountyarts1@gmail.com
