The Annual CAT Sale
That is our Collectibles, Art, & Treasures Sale!
Tentative - September 21 & 22, 2012
The Clinton County Arts Council (CCAC) will again be holding our annual September Yard and Bake Sale which we fondly refer to as our C.A.T. Sale. This stands for Collectibles, Art, and Treasures which are donated items from Board Members, Docents, and the General Membership. We truly do receive some interesting donations and again last year, the Railroad Depot (where the sale is held) was completely filled with all types of items from dishes, books, paintings, quilting materials, sports and camping equipment, and even tools.
As in 2011, we have added a Bake Sale so shoppers will have an opportunity to purchase some homemade bread, cookies and pies. This annual sale is one of the ways the CCAC utilizes to provide funding for our operating costs for the coming year.
So if you are in the area, please top by the St. Johns Railroad Depot on Friday, September 21, from 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and Saturday, September 22, from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. You might be surprised to find something of interest because as the saying goes: "One person's trash is another person's treasure."
If you are interested in donating items to the CCAC for the sale. We will be accepting donations on Wednesday, September 19, and Thursday, September 20, from 12:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the Clinton Northern Railroad Museum. Please the only items that we are not accepting will be clothing and shoes.
Located at the Clinton Northern Railroad Museum, 107 E. Railroad St., St. Johns, Michigan
All proceeds from the sale go to the Art Gallery.
